Who loves the dollar store? Oh, the bargains and the deals one can get at the dollar store. It is simply magical...okay, maybe "magical" is a stretch, but the dollar store is still phenomenal. It is a crafter's paradise. One of the things that the dollar store is best for is cheap and easy DIYs. So before you head out to the greatest store on earth, take a look at the list and then make a list of your own — a shopping list, that is. 
Yay for dollar store DIYs!! Let's dig right in! 

1. Purchase a couple of plastic kids' toys from the dollar store and turn them into bookends. 

2. Or this amazing dollar store DIY using a toy dinosaur. Besides this being a super easy DIY, it is also amazing! 

I mean, who wouldn't want to be served Oreos by this thing?


3. Add artificial flowers from the dollar store to the tops of pushpins to jazz up your bulletin board. 

4. The dollar store is full of white ceramic mugs, just waiting for you to jazz up. 

Use an oil-based paint pen and draw on your mug. Bake the mug in the oven for 30 minutes at 350°F. Let your mug dry for a few hours or overnight before placing it into the oven, though. 

5. Buy those cheap and ugly ceramics from the dollar store...

Just give them a new look with a quick coat of spray paint. 





6. Don't spend your hard earned money on expensive deco vases. 
Make your own with a dollar store glass cylinder, some painter's tape and spray paint. 







7. Get a little bit of Mod Podge and some pretty scrapbook paper and you can make over a dollar store clipboard, too. 
Super easy. 




8. These are just old light bulbs wrapped in twine from the dollar store. 
Pretty easy, right?

9. You could use these mirrored boxes all over the home for some chic decor. 

No one would even just they are made with mirrors from the dollar store! 



10. Elevate your soaps in style. 
This stand is made with a tin tray and candle holder from the dollar store. They are glued together and then spray painted. Easy peasy. 




11. Give one of those tacky stove burner covers from the dollar store a chic upgrade. 
Now you have a magnetic memo board. 



12. You could whip this up in under 30 seconds. 
Draw a tic tac toe board on a cloth bag using a Sharpie, and then get some of those pretty rocks from the dollar store — instant traveling tic tac toe game. 


13. Gold thumbtacks and a canvas are all you need to make this gorgeous piece of art.
